Our first Mission is to make fine art, produced by local and regional artists, available to art lovers at a reasonable price, thereby creating viable markets for artists.
To that end we offer a wide range of products and services for fine artists/photographers. Personalized service is what we do best. We work with the artist or photographer to achieve the image they expect. We welcome our customers to be part of the imaging process. Here at GoNE, Inc we do not just gain customers, we make friends.
Started in 2002 in a spare room at home, Giclée of New England, Inc. struggled though the difficult process of learning a new technology and art form. In that time we have grown into a gallery exhibition space, frame shop, and giclée production studio in downtown Palmer, Massachusetts. The support of our earliest customers has been the strength of our business. We thank those special people for their continued support.
Giclée of New England, Inc. (GoNE, Inc.) offers a variety of services, including fine art reproduction, custom framing, photo restoration, heirloom collages, digital image capture and large format printing. Giclée (pronounced ghee-clay) prints of archival quality will last for generations if kept under the proper conditions (under glass and out of direct sunlight.) As an artist, you put many hours of work and thought into creating your art. You know its true worth. Making Giclée prints not only enhances the value of your art, but makes it affordable to more buyers and makes you, the artist, more money.
Artists, photographers and digital artists also take advantage of this process to produce their work. The digital darkroom is becoming the industry standard. We can work with your digital file to produce large format Giclée prints of your digital images. You work hard to create your art; the image production process should be the best it can be to reflect the art you have created.
At Giclée of New England, Inc. we use state of the art methods and materials to produce the finest giclée prints possible. We print with the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8100 using The 12-color pigment ink system with LUCIA inks which offers excellent color fastness and stability with a remarkably wide color gamut. We also use the Epson 9800 Stylus Pro using K3 ultrachome inks. We use the highest quality archival media available. Our media of choice is Breathing Color, a product of the highest quality.
Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen. ~Leonardo da Vinci
