A little known but useful tool is the Ruler tool.

An image with a skewed horizon line  can make an otherwise good shot look unprofessional.  There are a few ways to fix it in Photoshop, but this tool make it easy and exact.

Select the tool. It is hidden under the eyedropper tool in the tool bar. Draw a line across the photo on the skewed horizontal or vertical line.

Then go to Image on the menu bar, Image>Image Rotation> Arbitrary…  When you select Arbitrary a box will open showing you the rotation as an angle. Click OK and the image will rotate to straighten out the image.

This can be used horizontally or vertically.
