Photo Restoration
Photo restoration is done by a digital process. We capture your original image and digitally correct color, remove dust, discoloration and scratches, and even re-size if you want it larger or smaller.
This is a great way to share those precious old photographs with other family members as well. We can restore faded color photos and colorize black and white photographs.

I have a few photographs from the early 1900′s that are cracked and or torn in a couple of places.
Do you restore such old photos using the actual original image or do you correct the problems on a digital copy of the original photograph?
I can be reached at 607.547.2773 or via email at this address.
Thank you,
Margaret
Margaret,
We correct the images digitally. We scan the old photos and make all repairs digitally. After reproduction, it is recommended that the original photos be stored in archival boxes in the dark. http://www.ieldrn.org/photo.htm is a good page for information on how to store old photos. I hope we can help with this for you.
